It was only until I was packing up my workplace in my mobile this afternoon when it finally dawned to me, I will miss this place so much. It was really comfortable working at my little mobile, calling the shots and working at my own pace. My nurse ain't much of a talker and neither am I, but we work well together. She's fast and can preempt wat I need well. The proximity of the mobile is one of e best deal ah.. Prob becoz none of my primary, sec school or jc are no where close to the a mere 10 min walk.
I've treated numerous pts, almost all of the sec 1s and 3s in each school unless they are too scared to turn up. And since most of em are from my neighbourhood, some of em nue me to be their neighbour liaoz. I have this one pt, sec 1, and lo and behold, her address is juz 3 units away from my flat. And I bump into her 2 days later at our floor lobby again while chaining my bike haha..
In all, I'm discarding all that I've come to love and familiar with for somewhere that is ridiculously, ridiculously far. Y dun they give me tekong? It will prob be fun to see me puking blood heh..

To master the art of cutting up pple, I have sacrificed numerous things. I have to let go of my earthly possession of my nokia express music, for it had e ability to capture military secrets. I have to let go of my school mobile service which I've grown to luv, for which I could either walk for 10 min or cycle for 5 to reach. And also recounting the times when I trot home to take a nap during lunch break is making me salivate already. But I have to hardened myself for what I had to do. I chose SAF posting.

I was delighted when I got my SAF posting. I was elated when I found out my original posting was Kranji camp. But then a DO wanted to continue to stay at Kranji, so my short term elation was pulverised. But for some reason I cannot fathom, I was posted to selarang camp. Now for those who didn't nue, bukit batok is in e west. And selarang, is in an ulu part of changi. And therfore I proudly announce that Selarang is yi yin (camp) zi xia, wan yin zi shang, juz short of pulau tekong nia. How exciting is tat? Every morning I have to wake up prob 2 hours earlier, and fight for a standing place on the bus and mrt all e way from clementi to changi. So freaking exciting..

But I'm here to train. For that I will endure watever crap the crappy management throw at me. This is afterall the 2nd national service I have to go thru, and wat one can do is to make the best outta the situation. Selarang dental is a single chair clinic which mean I'll have more freedom. And also La op expert Jingli is juz across the sea in pulau tekong. Under my guidance, Selarang dental clinic shall rise to new heights! Eh boss if you are reading this, pls.. Grade 1 or at least grade 2 liaoz ah.. =)
