He msg me again 2day with: "Hi friend how is yr exam. (following which is his name)"
I replied stating when my study break and exams would start and following which he sent me another 2 gd luck msgs immediately.
Him #1: "I pray 4 u. Study hard god bless u. Bye"
Him #2: "I knock on Heaven's Door just now. GOD ask "Wat can I do 4 u tis year? I said 'Pls Love, Protect & Bless the One reading tis sms'. GOD smiled 'ALREADY DONE.' "

So there.. See tat not all dentists inject fear and terror into e patients with our drills and needles.. I guess this is one really friendly guy heh. Good guy too.. Never fail appts and only arrived late once becoz it was his first appt and he got lost along e way. Subsequently, he always arrived 15 min earlier b4 e appts.. Well, a punctual patient is a dentist's gd friend too!

Juz in case u r wondering, he's not a teenager but 29 year old, who at e very first appt grasped and exclaimed I looked so damn young.. Ma chiam like a 16 or 18 yr old.. Maybe tatz y I'm still a fangless and clawless dentist so is more approachable?

On another matter, somehow WS and Wanyi came up with a new name for me, claiming I look like a 'Bernard'. Juz like my lab partner look like a ' Tiffany' and we call her Tiffany Lee. Hmm.. I only nue one Bernard, but I dun think our characters or looks match.. I think I look so much more like a 'Legolas' thou.. Legolas Lee.. How abt tat?

Went with my dad to my very first wedding lunch today which saw e union of my da gu's daughter and her husband. It was held at Yishun SAFRA club more.. No doubt a budget wedding banquet.. And I was sitting with my dad at a table full of distant distant cousins and relatives.. Pretty xian thou..

Out of sheer boredom yesterday and in an extreme denial to start mugging for e finals, I decided to try out e johari window after a couple of my friends asked me to do theirs. Althou crappy, they r nonetheless interesting, so tat serve e purpose.. Wonder why is there a limit of 6 words thou..
Till far I've asked ten of my closer friends who were online last night and coerce em into filling up for me..

But I dun think its very accurate, firstly becoz of e limitation of 5-6 words. One should haff e choice of picking as little or as many characteristics they like ah.. But en again, its Joseph Luft and Harrington Ingram's johari window, not Yonghe's johari window.
Then not all e characteristics are inside e window. For example, the most impt characteristic for me like 'Yandaoy' is not there, or else I'm sure I'll get 100% for tat trait. On e otherhand, at least its accurate enuff to show tat none out of e ten pple chose 'modest' for me..

Went to orchard to meet up with peiqi, kl and gk to crap and eat e night away.. Kl, a yr 4 medical student was complaining to me that we dentistry pple come in such huge grp (12 pple) during paediatric ward rounds and emotionally traumatise e patients so much so e patients actually dun allow e medical students to examine em again..
Wow..
Didn't nue we made such a huge impact afterall..

And after e de-stress session, me and KL were walking to e busstop and we saw e singapore idol queue! It was on e grass patch behind e long john silver fast food of cineleisure and already e queue was snaking its way like e 13 bends of kent ridge park, at 11.20pm. Tents were pitched up and e tv crew was there as well.. Pretty impressive sight now tat you see it real life instead of from e tv..
I wanted to say more but this is a public blog, and I'm not like Xia Xue who love to make herself e top of hatelist everytime.

F**** f****, let me apologise for e f*** that e damn idiotic infra-red connection of my phone is still f****** cmi.

Well, not all f*** are vulgar coz e 1st one is First, e 2nd is forth and e 3rd is fact and e last one is well.. you got e last correctly. =)

Ha.. Juz too bored and realise there are so many F words in my f**** (first) sentence.

Anywae decided do a short review after 1 year of clinical dentistry now that there is only 2 wks of yr 3 left with e exams only 4 wks away. By far, e most impt thing in dentistry is patient management- to manage your patients properly and keep them happy (and pain-free) is e most critical factor in e making of a good dentist. And every patient need to be handled different becoz of their individual character or even differently at different times coz their moods will change, with our best example like H**** *O*A*O. So it is actually pretty interesting with each clinical session or with any patient contact, coz you never nue wat to expect! It is also pretty interesting to try to predict the personality of each patient and his expectations/demands so that you can handle each case in the most efficient manner.

And today I juz got a farniee msg from e patient I saw today..
"Hi Mr Lee after teeth cleaning i went jogging. My body aching. I am flat. Bye"

.......

No matter how much I have tried to predict his personality, I failed to understand y he sent this msg. Finally I decided that the reason must be becoz I'm too handsome..

And there are a lot more cases, some more interesting, faniee, difficult, challenging, heart warming or heart wrenching. But en it has only been a year and our encounters with patients are by far still damn limited. I find myself enjoying more and more with each clinical sessions, now that e we can relate wat we haff learnt into practicality and each experience is usually new and therefore interesting.. Heh hope I'll still feel e same way 10 years down e road..

And ofcoz, knowledge and skills are very impt too and no one wants to be an incompetent dentist.

Finally I shall end with my army signaller motto: Speed through skills!
